Centre d'Achats Beaconsfield is a small indoor shopping mall (one of the smallest in the West Island) located in Beaconsfield, Quebec, Canada on 50 St. Charles Blvd. across from Quebec Autoroute 20. The only anchor of this mall is a Metro Plus. The mall is operated by First Capital Realty.
Built in 1959 as a strip mall, it was one of the many malls from Ivanhoe Corporation. Its original anchors were Steinberg's and Woolworth.
Towards 1992, its primary tenants were Steinberg's and a Canadian Tire store. In 1992, Steinberg's became Metro. In 1995, Canadian Tire relocated to a new standalone store in Kirkland, Quebec, while Dollarama, Wimgym & Royal Bank took over the lease.
The mall was sold to First Capital Realty in 2002 when Ivanhoe Cambridge divested itself from its small shopping centres in the early 2000s.
A Le Super Club Vidéotron used to operate at the mall before closing permanently in 2008, although it was not part of the former Canadian Tire space. Royal Bank moved to a new standalone location near the mall in 2008, while Dollarama closed and Wimgym moved to Dorval, Quebec. During the same time, the mall's northern half was demolished (except for the former Metro store), and was replaced entirely with glass. The SAQ store also left the mall as well, while moving to a new standalone location, also near the mall. Metro Plus replaced the former Canadian Tire store in December 2008, while a week ago, Metro closed its doors. Another standalone location, being a Tim Hortons opened in 2009, but in the mall, Dagwood's was opened and Pharmaprix took over the former Metro space. Prior to 2009, Pharmaprix was relocated next door to Metro. The mall added a Gold's Gym in 2010.
Metro was the last remaining Metro store in the West Island that was a Steinberg's store since the conversion of Metro at Plaza Pointe-Claire as a Metro Plus store earlier that year.
